This photo of the Great Blue Heron was taken on one of our many travels to Florida. Barbara and I were traveling through one of many wildlife sanctuaries we have visited over the 20 or more years we have gone to Florida. The heron was sitting in a tree next to a dock where 2 people were fishing. They told us that if they caught fish they would leave one for the bird and he would come and take it.
